Getting to know Windows 8


Microsoft started to introduce the newest operating system successor to Windows 7. Microsoft is calling the next generation of Windows, with the name "Windows 8".

The new windows are deliberately designed and optimized for touch screen (touch screen). Which can be accessed with or without using a keyboard and mouse. Applications therein will also work on a variety of screen sizes and pixel density, and a small blackboard for laptops, desktops, all-in-one, and even display the size of the class. This new approach gives more choice to users to use any type of device desired. This in definitely inspire a new generation of hardware and software development, and improve the experience for PC users worldwide.

Some new features of Windows 8, among others:

  1. Faster in running applications from file-based screen (screen-based tiles), which replaces the Windows Start menu to display, and display applications tailored to the scale of the screen.
  2. Always display the information up-to-date list of applications that we have. 
  3. Has the effect of application a more natural movement.
  4. More comfortable and have the ability to make snap and resize an application to the side of the  screen, so that we could really use a multitask capability of this new system.
  5. Equipped with a powerful web applications built to use HTML 5 and JavaScript that has access to the maximum capabilities of the PC.
  6. Users can easily upgrade windows 7 to windows 8 without worrying about the compatibility of software and peripherals.
Based on the Microsoft site to information about the certainty there are no leaks when the windows 8 will officially be commercially produced. But the possibility will be marketed in late 2012 or early 2013. Let's wait advent.
